Hi there! My name is Christin and I could not be more grateful and honored to serve as the President of the Sigma Chapter of Delta Zeta at Louisiana State University this year. Through our website, I hope that you will learn more about the steadfast love that makes Delta Zeta a home for incredible women of all backgrounds.

Coming to college, I could not have been more excited for the opportunities and experiences that LSU presented me. Deciding to go through sorority recruitment and becoming a member of Delta Zeta has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I am constantly reminded how blessed I am to have the most incredible women by my side and for the lifelong memories and experiences that would not have been possible, if it were not for this chapter. 

Our chapter constantly strives to live out our values of belonging, curiosity, community, friendship, generosity and empowerment. One of my favorite values that can be seen on a daily basis in Delta Zeta is friendship. From walking into the house each day to the sound of cheerful laughter in the kitchen, to our weekly sisterhood events or chatting with another Delta Zeta on the bus to class, I know that I will always have a friend by my side now and for years to come. 

Another value that the Sigma chapter exemplifies is generosity. Delta Zeta members are proud to be involved in hands-on philanthropic opportunities. Whether it is visiting the St. Lillian’s Academy through our weekly buddies program or raising over $60,000 for our local and national philanthropies each year, giving back is something we truly value at Delta Zeta. 

A plaque outside our home reads “Find within the walls of this home, a sisterhood inspired by the pursuit of everlasting friendship” and I hope that you can also find this to be true.
