RECRUITMENT
DEAR POTENTIAL MEMBER,
“I am extremely excited to be serving you as Recruitment Chair this year. I can not wait to meet all of you! Going Greek will give you opportunities, experiences, and friends to last a lifetime. The Greek community here at LSU is one of a kind, and we truly show Panhellenic love up and down the row!
Recruitment is the most rewarding process but can be very nerve wracking for many girls. My best advice to an incoming PNM would be to come in with an open mind and curiosity! Stay true to yourself and your personal values. Joining a sorority is the best decision you will ever make and be willing to explore different chapters, but also trust your instincts and choose the organization where you feel the most comfortable and authentic. The recruitment process can be very overwhelming, but just remember everyone is just as nervous as you are and you are not alone! This is all about you and your journey. You will end up where you are supposed to be, meet the most amazing women along the way, and ultimately create memories that will last a lifetime!”
-Ashley Hanks, 2024 Recruitment Chair

RECRUITMENT TIPS
Participating in sorority recruitment can be both exciting and nerve-wracking. Here are some tips to help you navigate the process successfully:
Be Yourself! It's important to be genuine throughout the recruitment process. Don't try to be someone you're not just to fit in with a particular sorority
Trust the Process! Remember that sorority recruitment is designed to help both you and the sororities find the best fit. Trust the process, and trust yourself to make the right decision for you!
Keep an Open Mind! Keep an open mind when meeting members of different sororities. You might be surprised by the connections you make and the friendships you form!
Come Prepared! Recruitment can be physically and emotionally draining, so make sure to prioritize self-care. Get plenty of rest, eat well, and take breaks when needed.
By following these tips and staying true to yourself, you'll have a better chance of finding the sorority that's the perfect fit for you. Good luck!
